West Kirby to Heswall And Back
Me, Robin and Stu were going to head over to G-lands on sunday but after a quick decision by me and robin we decidided to stick to the wirral and sail at ethier West Kirby or Leasowe then saturday night stu rang me and he conviced me to go to Prestatyn and we thought it would be really good. Then on Sunday morning we all decided leasowe would be going off (for leasowe standards) but i spoke to robin and we decided west kriby freestyle instead as it was to southerly for leasowe real shame tho!! so we headed up to kirby and there were all the local freestyle people out good to sail with everyone again after a long time of just 2 or 3 of us out there was about 20 people out maybe more!! After sailing for about 2 hours the tide started to creep up so me and robin decided to go for a little trip down to heswall it is about 7 miles there and back so a fair bit of a run on 1 tack my arm's where sore due to my harness lines in the wrong place all fixed now tho!! check picture below to see the run that we did!!On saturday if the forcast get's a little bit better we were thinking of doing a bit of a down winder to leasowe from west kirby which is also a fair bit of a trip but should be really good fun if we do it! so fingers crossed we get the conditions for it!! Hope fully see some people at west kirby on saturday or sunday if you have nothing planned and the wind is blowing i think we all know where you should be!!
