West Kirby to Heswall And Back

Me, Robin and Stu were going to head over to G-lands on sunday but after a quick decision by me and robin we decidided to stick to the wirral and sail at ethier West Kirby or Leasowe then saturday night stu rang me and he conviced me to go to Prestatyn and we thought it would be really good. Then on Sunday morning we all decided leasowe would be going off (for leasowe standards) but i spoke to robin and we decided west kriby freestyle instead as it was to southerly for leasowe real shame tho!! so we headed up to kirby and there were all the local freestyle people out good to sail with everyone again after a long time of just 2 or 3 of us out there was about 20 people out maybe more!!

After sailing for about 2 hours the tide started to creep up so me and robin decided to go for a little trip down to heswall it is about 7 miles there and back so a fair bit of a run on 1 tack my arm's where sore due to my harness lines in the wrong place all fixed now tho!! check picture below to see the run that we did!!

On saturday if the forcast get's a little bit better we were thinking of doing a bit of a down winder to leasowe from west kirby which is also a fair bit of a trip but should be really good fun if we do it! so fingers crossed we get the conditions for it!! Hope fully see some people at west kirby on saturday or sunday if you have nothing planned and the wind is blowing i think we all know where you should be!!

DI - DI - DI - DINAS

Well I'm back again but properly back and will keep everything flowing on the old blog!!so lets start from Thursday when me and Rob decided to head over to wales but we couldn't decide where to go and after we looked at the wind and it was SSE we called it for Dinas. Then it started to go down hill from this point we received a call from big bro Stu at about 08:45 to see if we had left yet which we hadn't still loading car at my house, we then got the information that it was high tide at 12:47 so you cant sail it at high tide so me and robin arrived at half 11 and had to wait till 2 before we could hit the water!! it was super windy really big waves about logo high super clean and going on for ever! but it was super gusty so i rigged a 4m and was underpowered then well over powered got a few rides but wasn't sailing very well at all where as robin was on fire with a super nice back loop attempt really close but got ripped out of his hands at last moment!!! gutted matey!!! then we came of the water at about 4:30 and headed home rather slowly!!!
Also on other news about 2 weeks ago i smashed my to front teeth in half in a really serious Christmas decoration take down i was carrying the ladder down to the shed and it got caught on a fence and swung me round into it and 'bang' teeth are sitting in my hand very sore!!! but luckily i have a nice new set to show off but on the downside a life time of treatment on them quite annoying really and will be pricey any donations welcome!!!

Some few little and big things going on are:

1)Stu joins the RRD team
2)Danny Bruch on severne sails
3)Bjorn Dunkerbeck on severne sails( i think i could go faster)
4)Robin has a very fancy new moo custom twin fin and he loves it
5)2009 HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYBODY
